  • 1975 Bluenose II Measured Drawings. “The Last of the Tall Schooners” Signed and Numbered by L. B Jenson. This set is #741 of only 1000 ever made. The Smithsonian has set #187. These are rarely ever seen in the marketplace.
There are 32 total plates. The plates are approximately 22 x 42. Tons of details, measurements and artwork on the ships construction. There’s so much more to see but Ebay only allows 12 photo uploads. This set has the original clear plastic cover and back, and is bound by removable steel screw rivets. It’s in good condition for a 1975 artifact, with normal aging. There is staining and waves on some of  the plates, which only adds to its vintage appeal. Please expect imperfections.
When I acquired this from a storage auction several years ago it was rolled up and bound. I flattened it back out by laying books on it for several days.
Here is some info on L. B Jenson-
“L.B. Jenson, a noted marine artist and historic illustrator produced this dedicated work. Measured drawings have been carefully reproduced and checked whilst Bluenose II was fully rigged and a working vessel. Decks, fittings and housings, booms, gaffs, bowsprit, rigging etc., supported by illustrations of the vessel under sail. Drawings of the hull, masts and sails, nothing left out for the marine enthusiast. Additionally, there is an illustrated history of the fishery.”
